The prize-giving ceremony of the fourth edition of the Golden Graal Student’s Choice Award will be dedicated to the most important Italian actress of all time: Anna Magnani, whose centenary is falling this year.

 

During the Gala at the Auditorium della Conciliazione - June 8th, 2008 - in order to honour her memory and ideally celebrate her hundredth birthday, a clip of the new film by director Elfriede Gaeng focused on the actress will be screened.

 

Furthermore, during the days that precede the prize-giving ceremony, director Elfriede Gaeng will hold one of the workshops that form - along with the Gala and the screenings - the Golden Graal event as a whole.

 

Finally, the Golden Graal Student’s Choice Award is proud to announce that during the Gala night the Anna Magnani Centenary Award will be assigned to a young actress aged less than thirty, and designated by a jury made up of directors, journalists and actors.
